It could continue living in water indefinitely considering how much faster its growing in water (with no added nutrients) than my potted one. This huge leaf philodendron is absolutely stunning with its dark coloring. It is in a medium light location in my home and thriving. It can be easily propagated in water, just as long as it is not fully submerged in it. It seems to be a bit of a slow grower, hence the price for the size. 🛍🏡Come and see my in-home store.
